The compact
DEA 10 control and display unit is an IBM-compatible
panel PC with a Pentium processor and 10" TFT
display.
The DEA 10 was designed using Commercial-Off-the-Shelf
(COTS) hardware and software components. The suitability
of the display as well as the integrated components
for use in vehicles under increased ambient conditions
is ensured by ruggedization.
The DEA 10 has a variety of standard interfaces
and the existing PCMCIA slots allow it to be extended
with additional functions.
