The GA 2000 has an integrated communications processor which supports the operation of two radio circuits via modem and data radio. This is supported by the radio protocols of the artillery to the fire control centre IFAB and to the command and control system ADLER as well as the ASCA protocol. Alternative radio protocols are possible. The communications processor allows the operation of different VHF radio units.

An integrated, monochrome 10.4" EL display with 640 x 480 pixels and VGA interface is used for the display. It is operated via an external keyboard. Standard keyboards as well as specially designed keyboards are supported.
