The radio
equipment adapter is a miniaturized, favorably priced,
additional electronic device for the full usage
of the SEM 80/90 radio equipment without the radio
connector unit component for radio data transmission.
The FA16-K provides interoperability to the radio
equipment SEM 93 and SEM 80/90 with the radio connector
unit in the fixed frequency and automatic channel
selection modes. The FA16-K is connected to the
16 Kbit/s interface of the radio equipment and has
a V.24 interface to the KM1 communications processor.
The FA16-K radio equipment adapter is available
in the versions:
- FA16-K plug-in module on carrier boards
- Integrated in the PCMCIA communications module
