when COTS* products meeting the requirements are
not available.

For the adaptation to severe ambient conditions,
the computer and communications technology can
be designed in different degrees of ruggedization:

- Rugged/ruggedized standard (ruggedized modular
design)

ATM ComputerSysteme is experienced in hardware
design and uses the latest technology and bus
systems such as for example, VME, ISA, PCI, PCMCIA,
SCSI, etc.
