MIL-SPEC server for armoured vehicles

High-performance server system for extreme conditions

As high-performance servers, ATM vehicle servers provide extensive services for data processing and storage in a military land vehicle and enable the use of artificial intelligence, deep learning methods and big data handling.

ATM vehicle servers are designed for high-speed information exchange. For this purpose, ATM relies on cutting-edge technologies, high performance and a powerful CPU. The vehicle server is equipped with a processor that executes a large number of parallel and computer-intensive threads.

Performance overview:

  • Fan-free server system
  • Heat dissipation by convection
  • Exchangeable hard disks for red/black separation
  • External control and monitoring via IPMI
  • CPU with 16 cores and 32 threads
  • System with CENTURION footprint

The plus points

Tailor-made high performance server

Modularity

The vehicle server can be adapted to meet the customer’s requests and requirements in every respect, from the interfaces and memory to customer-specific functionalities.

Thermal stability

The vehicle server boasts high thermal stability and does not require active cooling thanks to its fan-free design.

Qualification

Box: Qualification The vehicle server keeps out water and dust, withstands salt fog, holds up to fluctuating pressures and the extended temperature range, and reliably processes data under heavy shocks and vibrations.

EMC

An aluminium housing ensures EMC compatibility. ATM applies various civil norms and standards as well as MIL-SPECS for this purpose.

On-board voltage network

ATM ensures smooth operation on the vehicle’s electrical system through the application of VG96916, MIL-STD-1275 and ISO 16750-2. This guarantees that the vehicle server harmonises with the power supply system, does not negatively influence the system or take damage itself.

Maintenance

A CMOS battery which can be replaced from the outside simplifies maintenance. This means that the device does not have to be sent in and is available more quickly for the next deployment.

Functions

As the central computer instance in a military land vehicle, ATM vehicle servers provide maximum security. In addition to the use of cryptographic methods, the servers are equipped with removable hard disk drives for red/black separation, as well as with redundant hard drive systems.
