Military land vehicles are used in different geographical and climatic environments and are exposed to various stresses that affect their on-board voltage networks. For that reason, electronic and electrical devices require special testing and must comply with the requirements of ISO 16750-2 (Road vehicles - Environmental conditions and testing for electrical and electronic equipment - Part 2: Electrical loads). ISO 16750-2 applies to road vehicles and recommends a specific installation location based on the environmental loads determined.
